Naimah Thomas, MA, ATR-BC, LPC is a Board Certified Registered Art Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor based in Chicago. Her practice is rooted in a healing justice framework, recognizing the impact of systemic oppression on mental health while honoring each client’s resilience and capacity for growth. At Healing Arts Collaborative, Naimah provides internal clinical consultation services and designs and contributes to marketing campaigns.

Christina is Healing Arts Collaborative’s Billing Specialist, through her billing company Amira Management Group. Christina is happy to answer all questions about payment and insurance, and can assist in filing out-of-network insurance claims. Clients are welcome to reach out to Christina with questions at any time.

Dorothy is Healing Arts Collaborative’s Insurance Verification Specialist. Dorothy reviews all clients’ insurance card information to ensure in-network status. Her education includes courses in the Guilford Tech Community College Office Administration Program. She previously worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and has 20 years of on-the-job training in HIPAA privacy law. She has a strong work ethic and dedication to learning new things, and likes to keep busy most of the time. Her hobbies include cooking, listening to music, and reading a good book.

The newest addition to and co-director of our Therapeutic Support Team, Gucci is a seasoned cuddlebug who enjoys pets and long walks. He attends most in-person appointments with Tyania at our Healing Arts office, and often pops up on screen during virtual appointments as well.

Winnie is a Cancer (sun sign) and loves meeting new people. She is afraid of large garbage cans, but loves carrots and bacon.

Stella is co-director of our Therapeutic Support Team. She attends in-person appointments with Cassie upon request at our Healing Arts office. Stella is an empath who enjoys bounteous cuddling and back scratches.

Scarlett + Patrick are self-appointed members of our Therapeutic Support Team. Scarlett attends most appointments from Cassie’s home office and enjoys loudly banging the office door until she is let in. Patrick attends appointments less frequently, but enjoys occasionally making a show of his fluffy tail on the screen.
