Snapshot:
I am an AuDHD, queer, cisgender woman who believes healing happens when people are given space to show up exactly as they are. As both an art therapist and former elementary school art teacher, I have seen firsthand how creativity, curiosity, and authentic connection can help children, teens, and adults better understand themselves and navigate life's challenges. I deeply value creating a therapy space that is neuroaffirming, collaborative, playful, and grounded in compassion.

I especially enjoy working alongside neurodivergent children, teens, adults, and families as they build confidence, strengthen emotional regulation skills, and discover approaches that honor the way their brains naturally work. I recognize that many people have spent years feeling misunderstood or expected to fit into systems that weren't designed with them in mind. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves—not by changing who they are, but by embracing their strengths while developing tools that support the life they want to build.

My therapeutic approach is creative, person-centered, and adaptable to each individual's needs. While art-making is always available as a way to communicate, process, and explore emotions, no artistic experience is ever required. Depending on your goals, I may also incorporate sandtray therapy, play therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and solution-focused interventions. Together, we'll find approaches that feel engaging, accessible, and meaningful for you or your family.

I believe growth rarely happens in perfect, tidy spaces, and I strive to create a therapeutic environment where authenticity is always more important than perfection.

I am a PATH provider for Transgender folks who are uninsured or underinsured in and around the Mecklenburg County, NC area. See here for more info: https://charlottetranshealth.org/providing-access-to-trans-healthcare-path/
