Healing Arts Collaborative is a social justice oriented therapy practice based on Yésah land (Durham, North Carolina). We are therapists committed to providing safe, affirming, and culturally responsive mental health care for 2SLGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and neurodivergent communities.

 
 

We provide therapy that is liberation-centered and trauma-informed, using anti-oppressive wellness frameworks that include:

Healing Justice Fund


We reserve a number of free and low cost appointments for clients who may not otherwise be able to access therapy. Our sliding scale always begins at $0. We prioritize these appointment slots for folx with marginalized identities, including BIPOC clients, LGBTQIA2S+ clients, disabled and chronically ill clients, youth and young adult clients, and clients experiencing housing and employment instability.

Donations to the Healing Justice Fund allow us to continue providing this service, expand our offerings as able, and to work always toward a vision for collective liberation in healthcare.

  • When your meeting or appointment is booked, you will receive a confirmation email and/or text with instructions to access your virtual appointment.

    You are invited to bring your own art materials to any virtual meetings.

    Please reach out to your therapist via text or email if you have trouble accessing our meeting.

  • LAKEWOOD OFFICE:
    Parking is available street-side on Lakewood Ave. Driveway is reserved for clients with mobility limitations. Enter through the front door (LEFT side) of the pale green duplex, and wait in the downstairs lobby area. Please be sure to obtain the front door keypad code from your therapist before arriving.

    All-gender restrooms are available in each office.

    ACCESSIBILITY:
    Climbing stairs is necessary to reach both of our offices. If you need to schedule an appointment without using stairs, or if you have other accessibility concerns, please contact us to discuss telehealth options.
